Our members of all ages enjoy many social activities such as our annual Boat & Leisure Show, Commodore's Ball and Sail Past, a New Years Eve Dinner and Dance, Wassail and numerous other functions all held in the Club's own facilities. As a yacht club we are actively involved in the community and host events to which all of Kelowna is invited. We are also the home of the Kelowna Power & Sail Squadron and their many boating education courses are held in the Club facilities.

Central Okanagan Sailing Association

COSA was established on March 21, 1979. However, COSA did not appear at its Hobson Road home until much later. The first several years of COSA's existence was based out of the old sea plane base, on land that is now the Grand Resort. In April of 1984, COSA and the Kelowna Rowing Club joined forces to create the Central Okanagan Small Boat Association. A year later, COSA purchased eight flying juniors from the Royal Vancouver Yacht Club. The same year, COSA played host to the Canadian Hobie National Championships. Since being built, COSBA has changed radically. A blue paint job, thousands of bricks, a much larger dock, motorboat lifts, dozens more LTS boats, new motor boats, an elevator lift, a giant flag pole, and hundreds of other changes that insured that our sailing club will remain one of the best dinghy clubs in North America.

Westbank Yacht Club

The club's well-sheltered moorage provides a convenient and safe harbour for almost any size of vessel.

At the heart of the club is the M.V. Pendozi - a car ferry that once sailed between Kelowna and the Westside of Lake Okanagan. Now lovingly refurbished, the old ferry is the headquarters of the club and a warm home-away-from-home to our more than 200 members.

Peachland Yacht Club

The Peachland Yacht Club has grown from humble beginnings in l958 into a busy marina in downtown Peachland with 55 moorage berths, a large activity deck and a small security post. Started by a group of residents wishing to have a place to moor their boats, the club is now self-sufficient and is incorporated under the Societies Act.

Penticton Yacht Club

Unlike other boating based clubs on the Lake, the PYTC is unique in having an outstanding and very active tennis group with four newly resurfaced courts and full lighting facilities for extended play times.

Summerland Yacht Club
